The off-set pole design alleviates shake and enhances stability and ball response off the backboard providing you with a gymnasium feel for your court. The internal compression height adjustment mechanism allows for safe and easy height adjustment from 6' - 10'. The Contender includes a sturdy 4" square upright, 36" x 54" backboard and a heavy duty flex rim. The durable steel construction includes a primer plus a two-coat, oven-cured enamel finish that will provide years of corrosion resistance. Enhance this unit with pole and backboard padding (purchased separately - see below).
