College bats must be stamped BBCOR certified. Any bat with a BESR stamp is not legal for 2011.

All aluminum BESR stamped bats are legal for 2011. Composite bats that are BESR certified are legal for 2011 ONLY if they meet the accelerated break-in (ABI) requirements. All BBCOR stamped bats are legal for 2011. After 2011 ONLY BBCOR certified bats will be legal.
