| The Schutt Hollywood Impact Kwik-Release base is the official recommended base of the Babe Ruth League and Cal Ripken Baseball and is approved for Little League play.
The patented design compresses upon impact like other Hollywood impact bases however, for additional safety, the top of the Kwik-Release base will disengage upon strong enough impact reducing the chance of injury. The youth design has a lighter resistance to disengage the base than the adult model.
The bottom of the base features a waffle-design that adds strength and flexibility. The soft orange tabs on the platform hold onto the top of the base but are soft enough for players to slide over. - 15'' x 15'' x 3'' regulation size
