Details

The distinctive Contender Signature Series basketball unit is designed for institutional or serious residential use.  The off-set pole design alleviates shake and enhances stability and ball response off the backboard providing you with a gymnasium feel for your court. The internal compression height adjustment mechanism allows for safe and easy height adjustment from 6' - 10'. The Contender includes a sturdy 4" square upright, 36" x 54" backboard and a heavy duty flex rim.  The durable steel construction includes a primer plus a two-coat, oven-cured enamel finish that will provide years of corrosion resistance.  Enhance this unit with pole and backboard padding (purchased separately - see below). Goalsetter's exclusive ground anchor hinge system allows complete assembly of the goal before it is raised upright, eliminating the need for ladders and scaffolding.
