Details

The X454 Extreme Series basketball unit is designed for serious residential use. The one piece, straight pole uses 7 gauge (3/16" wall thickness) structural steel for added durability. The external tension height adjustment mechanism allows for safe and easy height adjustment from 6' 8" - 10'. The X454 includes a sturdy 4" square upright, a 36" x 54" tempered glass competition backboard and a heavy duty flex rim. The durable steel construction includes a primer plus a two-coat, oven-cured enamel finish that will provide years of corrosion resistance. Enhance this unit with pole and backboard padding (purchased separately - see below). Goalsetter's exclusive ground anchor hinge system allows complete assembly of the goal before it is raised upright, eliminating the need for ladders and scaffolding.
