The Rawlings (formerly Schutt) Pro Hollywood-style bases measure 15" x 15" each and are designed to look like the Hollywood bases used in Major League Baseball. These bases are covered in a heavy-duty rubber layer for better performance and durability. The bases are offered in sets of 3 bases with either 4" stanchions (youth) or 7" stanchions (adult). The youth 4" stanchions provide safety and stability for younger players sliding into bases and should be used primarily with Bolco 1" ground anchors. In comparison, the adult 7" stanchions provide better stability for older players landing on the base with more force and can be used with any standard 1.5" ground anchor.
