The Rogers Flexy Double First Base Set is designed to help reduce sliding and collision injuries while maintaining the stability players expect during gameplay. The underside of each baseball/softball base features a unique beehive design that compresses on impact to help reduce injury while retaining its shape and support during regular play. Rubber stanchions positioned between the bases and steel ground anchors provide additional flex on impact, helping the system absorb force while remaining securely anchored during play. A double first base design increases fielder and runner safety by providing dedicated space for the runner to beat the play and the fielder to make the play, reducing the risk of collision. The base tops are constructed from pebble-embossed, UV-resistant rubber that resists sun damage and is built for multiple seasons of use.
