NFHS Approved Baseball Bases

Ensure your field meets official standards with our selection of NFHS approved baseball bases. Designed for durability and player safety, these bases meet all high school specifications: they are 15 inches square, between 2 to 5 inches thick, constructed from high-quality molded rubber, and are secured with an in-ground anchor system. For enhanced player protection, our collection includes breakaway bases that are fully permitted for NFHS baseball. These safety-focused bases are engineered to disengage from their ground anchors upon impact, helping to minimize sliding-related injuries.

Our supply includes NFHS compliant double first bases designed for player safety. A double first base utilizes a standard white bag in fair territory paired with a high-visibility colored bag in foul territory to prevent collisions at first base. Double first bases are currently permitted for NFHS High School play through state association adoption. However, a double first base will be required for all NFHS baseball games starting in the 2027 season.
