The Beacon SweetSpot field tamp handle features a revolutionary design that contains 1-1/2 pounds of steel shot in the handle to provide a dampened, "dead blow effect" with no vibration when tamping. The weighted handle sends all the downward energy to the ground/target with no recoil or bounce. This damping, "dead blow effect" provides maximum force with little or no vibration back into the arms or the shoulders of the user. Taller groundskeepers will appreciate the ergonomically designed long handle, saving them from bending over while working on the fields. The SweetSpot field tamp handle is designed to work with SweetSpot tamp heads only (sold separately below).
