The tall glass backboard from Gared is the perfect replacement for an older-style 48" backboard system, providing a cost-effective way to replace a damaged board without needing to upgrade both ends of the court. Offered in a steel frame for rigidity and resistance to dunking or an aluminum frame for lightweight installation and corrosion prevention, this backboard is ready to take on aggressive play. The 1/2" tempered glass is protected from shocks by a vinyl gasket and an acrylic cushioning pad between the mounting plate and glass. The backboard meets NCAA and NFHS standards, and is backed by a lifetime warranty when used with Gared goals.
