The Jaypro 42" non-breakable glass backboard has a unique design that allows the impact load on the goal to be transferred directly to an engineered lower-reinforced steel structure, without imparting any stress on the glass. This backboard features a high-strength, clear anodized aluminum channel outer frame, which is lightweight and attractive, and half inch thick rectangular tempered glass, insulated from the frame by a vinyl gasket.
