The Bison 5-9/16" Mega Duty rectangle playground basketball system provides superior rigidity and the maximum safe play area through its highly engineered construction. Constructed of 5-9/16" diameter hot dip galvanized steel pipe, this pole allows for a 6' safe play area. The goal mounts directly through the backboard to the pole to virtually eliminate stress on the backboard when hanging occurs. This system inclides heavy-duty 15/8" backboard braces and is buried 48" in the ground.
The rectangular steel backboard measures 42"x60" features safety-rolled edges to increae strength and is powder-coated in white to prevent rust and graffiti damage. The system includes the Bison Ultimate Playground Goal, an extremely durble goal that features a double, solid rim design. No-fail netlocks add to the strength of the goal and eliminates netlock breakage. The Ultimate Playground Goal is powder coated in a traditional orange finish that is hard-wearing, eliminating the chances of rust.
