The First Team Legend 6” square basketball hoop is a fixed height basketball goal available in two different backboard variations, 42” x 72” acrylic or 42” x 72” tempered glass. The Legend’s vertical post and extension arm are both constructed of rugged 6” square 3/16" thick steel, providing top-notch performance in both durability and rigidity. Designed for the most rugged playgrounds, the Legend performs equally well on the home court. The post is set back 66” from the backboard for added player safety. The extension arm on the Legend is attached to the vertical post using six high tensile 5/8" bolts. Although this hoop is considered a “fixed height" goal, the extension arm can be bolted at any height along the post. The 3/16” steel rim is direct mounted to eliminate backboard breakage when players hang on the rim and comes with a durable net and continuous net-locks.
