This Porter outdoor basketball hoop provides 5' of clearance from the hoop to the pole, without compromising on strength or durability. The 4-1/2" diameter galvanized steel pole utilizes a gooseneck design to provide rigid support for the backboard without getting in the way of play. The durable aluminum fan-shaped backboard won't rust, and features an orange, easy-to-see official shooting square. The system has 5" x 5" mounting patterns to accomodate either a heavy-duty goal or a double-rim goal.
