The Bison 48" x 72" Unbreakable XL glass basketball backboard is a durable upgrade for older tall 48" glass backboards and is backed by an unconditional lifetime warranty. This 1/2" thick unbreakable tempered glass backboard features a highly visible white border and target for clear sightlines. The BA48XL is built with a polished aluminum extrusion frame, glass cushioning gasket, and high-strength steel support structure for long-term performance. The goal mounts off the glass, so even excessive hanging and abuse will not transfer stress to the backboard. A built-in support system absorbs more than 98 percent of the force from rim contact, protecting the glass from damage. The backboard comes pre-drilled for bolt-on edge padding (padding sold separately, see below), meets NFHS and NCAA specifications, and is intended for indoor use only.
