Beacon Nail Drag Mat

The Beacon 2-in-1 nail drag mat is a combination field restoration system that features two detachable drag panels that are designed to tackle the toughest surface conditions. Detach the rear panel for daily, light dragging, or go with the fully attached unit to scarify and restore infields with heavily compacted soil. The durable aluminum frame is equipped with rows of 3" steel nails that are built to loosen the infield dirt and improve playability. It is recommended to drag in a cross-cutting pattern to keep the infield smooth and avoid an uneven surface that can develop by dragging in just one direction. Generally, using the nail drag to loosen a depth of 1/4" to 1/2" of dirt/soil is recommended. The 2-in-1 nail drag includes a pair of wheels that make the unit easy to transport to/from the field and easy to store. The wheels are detachable via an easy-to-use pin system. The unit includes rear clips to add a floating drag like the steel drag mat or the cocoa drag mat (sold separately below).
