The TuffGuard™ basketball backboard edge padding from First Team provides protection and a pop of color to all 72”W backboards with its easy to install bolt-on design. Superior to glue-on, vinyl-dipped, or other safety pads, TuffGuard™ simply bolts onto a backboard with the perforated holes and included mounting hardware for permanent protection that stays in place. The contoured shape around the sides and molded-in goal relief reduces ball interference and has a notch for the bottom edge of the rim created by the steel pin connection at the center joint.
