Gared 42"x72" Collegiate Basketball Backboard, Rim & Padding Package

This premium package features a 42" x 72" tempered glass backboard with a fused white border and a sturdy gray powder-coated frame. Choose a steel frame for rigidity, or an aluminum frame for ease of installation. Acrylic padding behind the mounting plate and a vinyl gasket inside th frame protect the glass from aggressive play.  The included 2000+ Collegiate breakaway goal boasts a positive lock mechanism that securely holds the rim in place, but deflects under the pressure of a dunk, further protecting the backboard from damage. For added safety and durability, the system includes Pro-Mold bolt-on edge padding, crafted from 2" thick polyurethane foam, which covers the bottom of the backboard and extends 19-3/4" on each side. This comprehensive package meets NCAA and NFHS specifications, making it perfect for both competitive play and recreational use.
