The TEKTOR hockey helmet shield is made of a polycarbonate that prevents or reduces the emission of airborne germs and features an anti-fog design for visibility. This disposable and flexible shield easily attaches to the inside of the face cage of a hockey helmet via the included Velcro® strips. The TEKTOR hockey shield is equipped with an upper tab that covers the nose, a concave design for a clean sightline, and spaces for drinking straws. A lower tab on the shield easily inserts into the bottom of the cage for a secure fit. Made in the USA and sold in packs of three, the TEKTOR hockey shield meets ASTM (American Society for Testing and Materials) standards for mechanical, thermal, physical and optical property values. The TEKTOR hockey shield is offered in two styles, Hockey Shield 1.0 for steel cages and Hockey Shield 2.0 for bubble cages. Hockey Shield 1.0 fits all current, standard CCM and Bauer steel cages from adult to youth. Hockey Shield 2.0 fits the youth and adult bubble cages of the Bauer Concept III and CCM FV1 hockey helmets.
