The First Team competition breakaway goal is a rugged basketball rim designed to fit any indoor backboard and provide dunk protection. The positive lock mechanism allows the rim to flex downward only under the full weight of a player, protecting both the player and the backboard from the force of a dunk or hanging on the rim. Once the player lets go, the rim snaps back into position and play can continue. The rim features a universal mounting pattern to pair with any existing backboard and comes with the required mounting hardware. The included anti-whip net attaches to continuous wire netlocks for a secure fit. This indoor breakaway basketball goal is suitable for high school and college competition.
