The Gared 42" x 54" side court conversion glass basketball backboard (3050RG) is a quality option for facilities looking to upgrade older fan-shaped side court boards to modern rectangular glass backboards. Built with 1/2" thick tempered glass set in a gray powder-coated steel frame, this backboard also features heavy-gauge steel mounting plates that reinforce the corners for added durability. Steel strut mounting brackets with 20" x 35" fan backboard mounting centers make it easy to replace older fan-shaped backboards without reworking existing mounting structures. Acrylic cushioning tape protects the glass at the mounting plate, while vinyl shock-absorbing material separates the glass from the frame. This backboard includes a limited lifetime warranty against defects in material and factory workmanship, and the glass is covered by a lifetime breakage/shattering warranty when used with a Gared direct-mount goal attachment (sold separately, see below).
