This glass backboard from Gared is designed for seriously competitive basketball, with a regulation-sized tempered glass board and fused white border. Choose a steel frame with a 1100 lb breaking point for maximum rigidity and resiliance against dunking, or an aluminum frame with a 650 lb breaking point for corrosion resistance and lighter weight installation. Both frames are powder-coated in gray and feature acrylic padding behind the mounting plate and a vinyl gasket around the edge to protect the glass from aggressive play. This backboard meets NFHS and NCAA specifications and is ready for both competitive play and recreational use.
