The Gared Economy 3-1/2" straight post basketball hoop is a budget-friendly option for playground basketball. Constructed of 3-1/2" OD galvanized steel tubing, the post and extension arm are ready to stand up to the weather and feature a 10-year warranty. The hoop provides a 3' safe play area and must be buried in concrete to a depth of 36". The extension arm can be installed at any height up to 10' to suit the age of your players, and can be adjusted if necessary after resurfacing the court. Choose between a fan-shaped aluminum backboard with a fixed single rim or a clear acrylic rectangular backboard and double breakaway rim.
