At 4" deep, this polyurethane foam mat provides additional cushioning and impact absorption during practice and competition. The throw mat is covered in durable, 18oz vinyl on the top and sides, while the bottom is enclosed in a mesh panel that allows air to escape and prevents the mat from slipping. Firm foam is recommended for high-impact landings as it resists wear, while standard form is better for lower-imact applications. This mat meets USAG, NCAA and NFHS competition standards for supplemental throw mats, and can be used for a variety of skills throughout the gym.
