These AAI wide balance beam target blocks are a secure and convenient way to create an extra-large training surface, giving athletes extra support and confidence as they develop new beam skills. They are ideal for teaching beginners or helping advanced gymnasts refine complex movements, adding 8" of width to the beam to reduce the risk of falls. Sold as a pair, the target blocks attach to the beam with two high-strength nylon ratchet straps. Each block features a 3 lb EPS foam core enclosed between layers of Medium-Density Fiberboard (MDF) and is wrapped in a durable suede-like cover that matches the AAI competition balance beam surface. Lightweight and portable, these beam wideners are easy to transport and set up wherever training takes place.
