The Jaypro 48"x72" tall tempered glass basketball backboard is a sturdy replacement for older-style 48" tall glass backboards. The 1/2" thick unbreakable tempered glass features a white boarder and shooter's square and is protected from aggressive play by a vinyl shock-absorbing gasket between the glass and the aluminum frame. The 5x5 mounting pattern can accommodate fixed, flex, or breakaway rims, and the frame is pre-drilled for edge padding (sold separately, see below). This backboard is a great option when just one 48" board needs replacing or when updating the mounting system isn't an option.
