The Porter 3-sided column gym wall pad delivers heavy-duty protection with a fully custom fit, making it ideal for exposed structural columns that pose safety risks in gymnasiums, auditoriums, or recreational facilities. Built with a rigid-backed DuraSafe design, it features a 2" polyethylene foam core bonded to a 7/16" wood board base, all enclosed in a durable 19oz vinyl cover for long-lasting wear resistance. This pad is configured to your exact column specifications by providing the return dimensions when ordering. Order two pads to fully enclose a 4-sided, free-floating column for complete protection on all four sides. For installation, select either a 1" nailing margin along the top and bottom edges or a no-margin design prepared for a z-clip attachment system (sold separately). Available in a range of colors and built to your required dimensions, this column pad meets ASTM F2440 impact-protection standards.
