The Porter DuraSafe tapered I-beam pad provides robust protection with a completely tailored fit, making it a smart choice for exposed structural columns that may present safety hazards in gymnasiums, auditoriums, or recreational spaces. This tapered I-beam pad features a rigid-backed DuraSafe construction with a 2-inch polyethylene foam core adhered to a 7/16-inch wood board foundation. The pad is wrapped in a tough 19-ounce vinyl shell that resists abrasion and delivers lasting durability. For simplified mounting, each panel includes a 1-inch nailing margin at the top and bottom. This column pad complies with ASTM F2440 standards for impact protection.
