The Porter 42"x72" Pro-Strut Conversion glass basketball backboard, rim, and padding package gives facilities a durable, regulation-size upgrade designed specifically to replace outdated fan-shaped backboards. This versatile design supports three mounting methods right out of the box, including direct fan-mount conversion, a standard four-corner setup, or compatibility with a Center-Strut support system. The backboard is constructed from 1/2" thick tempered glass reinforced with a heavy-wall rectangular steel frame that is finished with a powder-coated surface for added weather resistance when installed outdoors. Its fired-in border and target area provide permanent visibility, and the 5" x 4-1/2" mounting pattern ensures secure installation of the included Powr-Flex competition goal. The goal is equipped with a shock-absorption offset spring hinge, Tube-tie net attachment system, anti-whip net, and all necessary hardware. Completing the package is Pro Pad molded polyurethane padding with an integral skin that resists cracking and tearing with simple bolt-on attachment with provided hardware.
