This Porter basketball hoop is a great option if you are looking for additional safe play area (5') but do not have the budget for an expensive 5-9/16", 6' offset pole. This hoop has a 5' extension with a 4-1/2" diameter galvanized steel pole. The clean, rigid design of the gooseneck pole provides the utmost in safety and strength during even the roughest play. The fan shaped backboard has an official orange shooting square. The backboard is constructed of aluminum, for durability and maximum performance and will not rust. This system can be used with both a heavy duty goal and double rim goal. The double rim has a 5" x 5" mount pattern, and it's construction makes this front-mount goal perfect for playground use.
