The Porter 3-sided column pad delivers heavy-duty protection with a fully custom fit, making it ideal for exposed structural columns that pose a safety risk in gymnasiums, auditoriums, or recreational facilities. The protective pad is built with a rigid-backed DuraSafe design featuring a 2" polyethylene foam core that is bonded to a 7/16" wood board base. Its components are enclosed in a durable 19oz vinyl cover that offers excellent resistance to wear and ensures long-lasting performance. Measuring up to 4'W×8'L when laid flat, this protective wall pad can be configured to your exact column dimensions by providing the return dimensions when ordering. For easy installation, choose between a 1" nailing margin along the top and bottom edges, or a no-margin, z-clip attachment system (sold separately). Available in a variety of colors and designed to your specified dimensions, this column pad meets ASTM F2440 impact-protection standards.
