The SKLZ Double Drive baseball & softball training bat uses a unique hand-loaded design to help hitters increase bat speed, build rotational power, prevent casting, and improve swing path control. Strategically positioned four-ounce and eight-ounce weights below and above the grip help develop proper bat lag and acceleration through the hitting zone. At 28" long and 30 ounces, the compact training bat challenges hand-eye coordination and strength while providing greater control through focused hitting drills. A 60mm barrel replicates the feel of the 2-5/8" barrels, helping hitters refine their swing with a familiar game-bat feel. Durable aluminum construction stands up to repeated practice with lightweight training balls, while the Durasoft polymer grip provides a comfortable, secure hold for proper swing leverage.
