The Champion breakaway base set is designed to reduce the potential for injuries sustained through sliding. Safer than traditional locked bases, these bases release upon side impact to ensure the safety of players as they slide into the base. This baseball/softball base set is built with heavy-duty rubber and includes 2 quick release bases, 1 quick release double first base, steel base anchors and rubber base plugs. For added safety, the double 1st base design includes a regulation-size white base for fielders and a bright orange regulation-size outside base for baserunners to reduce player collisions. This baseball/softball base set also includes rubber base posts, steel ground anchors, and rubber anchor plugs. This base set is compliant with Little League® Rule 1.06.
