The hard cap model is built with a polyethylene elbow cap reinforced by single-density foam, a floating bicep guard with high-density foam, and added high-density foam protection along the forearm. The soft cap model uses a partially floating bicep guard with mid-density foam, and protects the forearm with single-density foam reinforced by a polyethylene insert.
