These Safety Bases are disengage-able bases that feature 4 molded rubber-interlocking pyramids that hold the base securely in position. Engineered flexures give way and sever the base from the anchor with sufficient lateral force. The downward or angled forces, such as pushing off when rounding the base, do not affect the base. The ground receptacle lies flush with the playing surface when the base breaks free.
