Champion 15" Breakaway Safety Bases, Set/3

The Champion breakaway safety base set is designed to reduce the potential for injuries sustained during sliding. This three base set features a top base pad that breaks away from the bottom plate upon impact, protecting players from leg injuries when sliding. The base pad is engineered to maintain vertical rigidity, supporting a player standing on the base. The base pad also maximizes horizontal flexibility so that the pad will flex on impact. The base plate features a streamlined design that is low to the ground to allow the player to smoothly slide over the plate. This baseball/softball base set includes three rubber bases, three rubber base plates, three posts, three ground anchors, and three anchor plugs.
