The Bison 5" Ultimate Jr. basketball hoop with polycarbonate rectangular backboard is a durable yet affordable option for playgrounds and recreational areas that experience heavy use. The 5" square, 1/8" wall steel pole buries 3' into the ground with a 4" square extension arm, placing the face of the backboard 3' from the front surface of the pole and providing a stable support for the backboard. The 3'x5' clear polycarbonate backboard on this system is virtually indestructable and can withstand periods of extended use thanks to the heavy aluminum frame and rear support structure. The heavy-duty 5/8" steel flex rim is directly mounted through the backboard into the extension arm, eliminating virtually all stress during aggressive play. The rim is finished with a durable orange power coat and comes complete with a strong nylon net.
