The Bison 3-1/2'' gooseneck economy playground basketball system offers great value for playground use. Bison's Tough Duty 3-1/2" gooseneck pole provides 3' of safe play area and must be buried 36" in the ground. The system features a direct 5" x 5" goal mount and includes heavy-duty 1-5/8" braces to support the backboard. The steel backboard has an orange border on 12-gauge steel with a graffiti-resistant, white powder-coated finish. The backboard has a 5" x 5" goal mounting hole pattern and heavy support ribs, which require a direct mount. The standard front-mount competition goal has a universal backplate that will mount to virtually all boards, including institutional and home backboards. The goal features a 1/2" reinforcing bar that is engineered for maximum support. High-penetration, continuous welded joints and netlocks make this goal extremely durable.
