The Jaypro Competitor Scholastic breakaway goal provides both player and backboard safety during dunks or hanging on the rim. The rim deflects under the weight of a player and returns to the correct position and tension once it is released. The weight required to trigger release can be adjusted in the field to match the weight of your players. Traditional "pig-tail" style wire net attachments make it easy to remove and replace the net. The goal is compatible with all 42" boards, and includes the necessary mounting hardware and a nylon net.
