Made for fastpitch players of every skill level, the Evoshield G2S fastpitch softball catcher's gear kit includes a two-piece leg guard system with Gel-to-Shell technology, a Pro-SRZ catcher's helmet, and a groundbreaking SEI-certified chest protector. The G2S features the first fastpitch softball chest protector that is engineered to meet the Commotio Cordis test standard required for heart protection in baseball. The protector is built with breathable dispersion technology pads that absorb deflected balls while blocking. The chest protector also features a neck roll that comes with three different Velcro® patches that adhere to the neckroll: one USA patch and two black patches that can be embroidered for player customization.
The lower leg guards are engineered with an air activated material featuring Gel-to-Shell technology which transforms from a malleable gel into a customized, form-fitting shield in 30 minutes. The ergonomic shape of the leg guards creates the perfect fit, and the dispersion technology spreads the force of impact across the surface of the shield, minimizing felt impact. The placement of the upper leg guards can be moved up or down 2" for a more custom fit. The leg guards' reinforced double knee and thigh construction ensures that the guards stay in place. The comfort foam knee pad provides additional support. The catcher's helmet has a low-profile mask for increased visibility, a vented helmet shell for maximum breathability, and removable interior padding for washing. The interior pads are made with moisture-wicking fabric. Both the chest protector and the catcher's helmet are NOCSAE and SEI-certified.
