Gill NFHS/NCAA Approved SafetyMax+ Pole Vault Box Collar Padding

The SafetyMax+ vault box collar pad from Gill complies with ASTM standard F2949 and the 2013 rule mandated for NCAA competition and the 2015 rule mandated for NFHS competition. The SafetyMax+ will work with any style of pole vault landing system. The SafetyMax+ vault box collar provides additional safety and protection with better coverage and thicker padding than traditional vault box collar pads. The winged arms go down into the vault box so more of the hard surface is covered, however there is no interference with the pole action even at the highest levels of competition.  In addition, the safety yellow color helps highlight the open area for planting the vaulting pole. Gill offers the only vault box collar pad with padded wings that extend down into the vault box.  (as required by ASTM Standard F2949). These "wings" are a patented feature that only Gill provides.
