Convert an older-style fan backboard to a regulation-sized glass backboard with the Gared conversion glass backboard package. The heavy-duty steel backboard frame has mounting points that accommodate typical fan-backboard structures, while still holding the glass backboard securely. The package includes a Gared 2000+ collegiate breakaway goal with dual-spring returns and a positive lock mechanism to protect players and the backboard from slam dunk damage. Bolt-on Pro-Mold backboard padding wraps the lower edge of the backboard in 2" thick urethane foam to protect players as they reach for the ball. Each item meets NFHS & NCAA specifications.
