The Gared Heavy Duty 5-9/16" gooseneck upright with front-mount plate and brace kit provides reinforced support for playground basketball backboards, featuring a V-brace that adds rigidity to the structure, enhances backboard longevity, and significantly reduces vibration on every banked shot. This upright offers a traditional curved design with a fixed official height and is constructed from a 5-9/16" heavy-wall galvanized steel tube with a 4' or 6' safe play offset. Built to support any backboard-and-rim combination, it is compatible with all outdoor front-mount backboards, and the integrated mounting plate provides direct goal attachment for secure installation. Designed for permanent outdoor use, whether replacing a damaged post or installing a complete setup, the upright extends at least 36" into a concrete footing to ensure long-lasting stability on high-use courts.
