The Gared Standard Duty 4-1/2" unbraced gooseneck post provides reliable, traditional support for playground basketball systems, making it an ideal replacement for damaged posts or for outfitting new outdoor courts. Built from a 4-1/2" OD x 0.18" wall galvanized steel tube, this pole features a classic curved gooseneck design with a fixed height and a 48" extension for an unobstructed play area. The integrated mounting plate allows direct goal attachment and supports any outdoor backboard-and-rim combinations up to 100 pounds. Designed for permanent installation, the post extends at least 36" into a concrete footing to ensure long-lasting stability and dependable performance for high-use playground environments.
