The Gared Standard Duty 4-1/2" gooseneck upright with front mount plate and brace kit delivers reinforced support for playground basketball systems, featuring a V-brace that significantly reduces vibration on every banked shot. This playground upright offers a traditional curved design with a fixed official height and is constructed from a 4-1/2" OD x 0.18" wall galvanized steel tube with a 4' offset under the basket. Built to support backboard-and-rim combinations up to 100 pounds, it is compatible with all outdoor front-mount backboards, and the integrated mounting plate provides direct goal attachment for secure installation. Designed for permanent outdoor use, whether replacing a damaged post or installing a complete setup, the upright extends at least 36" into a concrete footing to ensure long-lasting stability on high-use courts.
